Have there been any IM bodies yet?

All the posts I've seen, here and Facebook, have been the 3DP bodies. But presumably they've had orders placed since the cut off. Anyone heard/seen anything beyond that one picture?

Not yet, that batch should ship out soon though right? I'm keen to see them, sadly I have to wait till the 1st before I can even think about ordering one, I'm totally spent out hah.

None yet, but I will have one in November, as per a birthday Makie so if no one gets one by then I will have one to share pics of. 

Tomorrow will mark the 2-week point since the definitive switch-over (14th), so I'd say from this point onwards they definitely should start showing up!

It took me a while to figure out what an IM body was, from reading over the forums and things.
I ordered a Makie last Wednesday, so will it be an IM body?

I would expect so. I'm looking forward to seeing what those bodies are like.

Ah, of course! I was trying to work out what the date would be, but I've got a headcold and I'm not 100% sure which century I'm in right now, so...

Guess it's time to wait patiently and refresh Instagram a lot!

There is a preview of the IM bodies in the FB group currently (I would post pics but Jen wrote she didn't want the pics to spread outside the group).
On a plus note, she said there will be official pics on the website in the next few days along with some information in an email/announcement.

They posted a newer pic (they said it was not 100% how they wanted it yet, but it's still a pic) and it shows a shiny-skin texture and there is a screw in the back. It was posted yesterday, and is not on Instagram (so it is not the one with the group of Makies dancing).

Not for a while yet I think they are quite behind....I ordered my last two 3dp on 10th September and they are still not with me yet.

I hope they can get the heads to match the bodies nicely in colouring.

There is a makie account on Instagram with a new cocoa IM body. I am pretty disappointed with the color match. makie_teens is the account, and since I'm a failure at posting pictures to the forum I invite you to look!

Ellarose - that account is set to private. I'm wondering if they weren't meant to be sharing pictures yet.

Just saw the new IM bodies in that Facebook group. I agree with a lot of the posters that the body will have to be matted after getting them. Not bad looking though.

Makie_teens has a YouTube channel that contains a video of the new body, linked on their profile.

I'll wait for more pictures, but I think admittedly it's enough to put me off, and be glad I got my makies when I did. The disconnect in finishes doesn't do it for me. I definitely hope they offer 3DP bodies as an option again at some point!

Yeah it's going to be pretty weird with a 3dp head and the Im body. 

They also mentioned the boys are hybrids right now. I was thinking "dang it! I want one now!" But they aren't full Im until after the holidays. :/

Just got an email this afternoon from them announcing the new price drop and briefly answering some FAQs. It also included a pic and the caramel and strawberry Makies look great but the cocoa still needs some dye matching done.  It could just be their office Makies with the new body, so the dye is kinda old or not but I'm not buying any cocoas until it looks a wee bit better.

I found a video with a boy cocoa Makie with an IM body. He doesn't look too bad color-match-wise, but he does look shiny. I'll post the link and hope it works.

That kid is physically assaulting that poor doll lol The edges of the fingers look like the plastic sort of melted out of the mold; it's kind of messy looking and not neatly defined. I'm not 100% convinced of the IM bodies just yet. I suppose they will improve them? I had good faith in them though, as the 3D printed bodies apparently were very annoying in terms of snagging fabric.
