Just got back from london so i'm sleeepy heh.

I got a print notice this morning. I think they've rewritten their print notice and maybe restructured their workflow. Interesting! I should expect Terry next week! Eep!

YAY! I'm impatiently awaiting my MFY boy. *sigh* I was expecting him tomorrow after today's wrong delivery shenanagins but looking at tracking, DHL haven't picked him up from the lab so I really don't know. I mean, it's nearly 9pm, I doubt they'd pick up post that late.

Sulk sulk sulk.

Husband's girl went to print too, she'll be the same batch as Terry then! heh. I cannot for the life of me spell her name though.

Is your hubbies girl in your makies or does he have his own account? I wanna nose! 

Evelynn went to print last week, a week ago today actually, no updates yet! I'm guessing there'll be a delay 'cause of the bank holiday weekend, but I'm hoping fingers crossed she'll come on Saturday, that way there'll definitely be someone here...otherwise I'll have to write them a note.  Are the DHL packages tracked? So I'll know what day they come on?

Oo yeah, I find that once they go to print it usually takes about 10 days (not the week they claim) to come back. They're usually pretty good on the 14 day thing, give or take a day. But the bank holiday may bork that. I know it delayed one of my girls, she ended up shipping the day before another one who was ordered a week later!
DHL parcels are indeed tracked, and they take 24 hours but they don't deliver sat/sun. So if they dispatch thurs, you'll have by fri but if they dispatch fri, you gotta wait till monday. AGONY!
Fizz did arrive on a sunday though, but that was really odd and i've no idea why they were working sunday when they don't tend to. maybe they had backlog.

But yeah, they track and their customer service team are fairly good at finding out where the van is if you nag them enough hahah. (not that I.. nag dhl constantly.. nooo <_< >_>)

Oh that's good then, but they don't have an estimated time of delivery then? So it could come at any time of day? D: UGH WORK.

Yes Chau, who's name is difficult to remember how to spell lol. She should be cute.

And noooo, no estimated time. But you can send them a message on twitter (pm them) and tell them where to leave it that's safe. Or leave a note on the door but that always makes me a bit anxious because it advertises that nobody's home.
Still, they seem to be pretty good about leaving it with neighbours if you ask them to. I've gotten to meet a fair few random neighbours as a result lol.

I had trouble with that, so I called them. They were willing to reroute to my work for free. I've been very happy with DHL so far.

How odd though, I ordered my girl on the 27th and I've still not had the second email  guess I'll be waiting longer...

I've never been able to work out how many makies are in each print batch, nor how often they print a batch. It's at least twice a week, if not more. Sometimes there's odd delays. Lirel went AWOL for a bit when I ordered her. she got left off the print queue or something, but she still got rushed back to the lab once she WAS printed and arrived on time. I think she stole Zhi's lift as he had to wait till the following day lol. poor guy.

Nevermind my girl is ready, they just haven't emailed me for some reason!

oh sometimes that happens, someone else has a similar issue where they never get the emails. It's strange. I wonder if the provider just like... decides to block them without telling anyone. But yay! Hopefully she'll dispatch asap!

Wow I can't wait to see Terry in nylon. I'm really curious how her face will turn out. I thinks that's one of the best parts of makies. If you talk to other makie owners about your impending doll, they feel your joy and excitement.

It's a week tomorrow since I've heard that Terry went to print. I expect I'll have an email about her tomorrow. Maybe. But someone is having reservations about Terry. Poor Lizzie. Their namesakes didn't get along: Terry used to hiss at and try to bite Lizzie.



I guess I'm excited enough for both of us. I'm not so sure Terry will be as bad as Lizzie is thinking.

We're about to find out just how grumpy Terry is: she's shipped!

I'd say it's usually 3-4 days. I expect to get her Thursday or Friday even though the tracking says tomorrow. If I'm pushed for a guess, I'd say Thursday is more likely.

exciting! Wait... was yours in the same batch as hubbys? I wonder if that means Chau will be back from the printer. I guess i'll know when he gets on his laptop after dinner hah.
He's told me i'm not allowed to sneak a peak at her before he gets home. Spoilsport.

I'm not sure, he can't remember hah. He's useless like that. But not long to go now I don't think. She went to print on the 7th. So any day now heh.

They're the same batch then. That's when Terry went to print. Cool, they're sisters!

Apparently she's back, but skulking around the labs still hah. Hopefully she'll be here before friday.
But then I think I really won't be able to contain my desire for another. I'll be so so jealous. *pout* I need money... fast. <_< >_>
