I'm so excited, I just ordered my first Makie yesterday. She hasn't even gone to print yet and I'm already dreading the wait until she arrives.

Woohoo, congrats! The wait is killer but if you can focus on other things it'll go by quickly enough. Or spend the time gathering bits and bobs for her arrival.

Can't wait to see some photos when she reaches you!

The wait never gets easier heh. It's so painful. I try to fill the time sewing stuff or setting up their "home" and collecting together all the accessories etc. It helps but only a little. *sobsob*

Oh yes, Makies are def tricksy ones. Some of mine have arrived and been fine with my original idea for them, others have been like "girl, what are you on about? I'm not wearing THAT" bah.

I have other dolls that had definite ideas of who they are so I've learned not to assume that they are waiting for me to choose their personality. I'm not even going to assume that she will like the name Sage.

Ok, I feel a little bit better. I got the message that she's been shipped. FexEx is estimating that she should be delivered tomorrow at around noon my time.

Sage got here around noon so my husband and I went to our mailing address to pick her up and eat lunch nearby.

She's absolutely lovely!  It's a good thing I bought extra wigs for her though as she didn't really care for the one she came in. I'll work on getting pictures uploaded (and getting more pictures) when I get back from my meeting tonight.
