Hey there, your admin/mod here.
Hey everyone,
I'm Purple_monkfish. I'm the administrator here but don't think that makes me in any way some fussy killjoy. Nooo, i'm a big kid really. Love dolls, collect a lot of different toys and even keep a blog that reviews/rambles on about said toys.
I'm loud, i'm opinionated, I LOVE boy dolls. In fact, expect to see my trying to get everyone to make at least one Boy Makie each lol. The boys.. they shall get everywhere! it's my mission!

Boy dolls are great! I love them as well - my main travel companion is a boy (although not a Makie, but a Gregor who has his own blog and FB page!) The first Makie I designed was a boy as well, which is why it is surprising I ended up buying a girl for my first....but I WILL have a boy!

Really, thanks so much for saving our little community! Hopefully there will be tasks that we can all take on to help you.

well if you want to do some "copy/paste" jobs on the shop links, that'd be super helpful.
I'm still sloooowly copying all the useful tech and customising stuff across and it's a very slow process.
But those shop links are also very very useful to people.
so if anyone's game for that, that'd be awesome (also, totally show off your own shops! hahah I know some of you have em!)
Re: Hey there, your admin/mod here.
Hi! I just tried to post a link and the forum won't allow me to until I've been here 7 days. Is there any way this can be changed?
Re: Hey there, your admin/mod here.
oh that's odd, let me see if that can be tweaked. Might be a feature of the site itself to stop spam but i'll see if there's an option.
Re: Hey there, your admin/mod here.
I think it's fixed now, it was a security feature hidden in the admin panel. Give it a try and let me know if it's working now.

I've gone through the FAQ portion of the old forum and added anything I thought was helpful or just historical even. I plan on just going up the main topics and seeing how far I can get unless you have a better idea.

Thanks for setting this up
I don't think I'll be getting a boy Makie, but two of my three are definite tomboys and also don't see themselves as either male or female
