Been eyeing up and making various Makies for a while and I've finally ordered, I whittled my choices down to ten.

I umm and ahhd over it for a while and eventually chose to go Evelynn.  For my first makie, I wanted one that was somewhat "normal" (Despite the elven ears) and plus chose to order now as there's a chance for that cutttteeee jumper! If all goes well,  Misty & Stella will be next!

Now for the wait T_T

Thanks guys! Ugh just realised Argos have the makies design your own for £64.99! Oh well, it would have been a bit of a saving.

True, there are some premade Makies out there. Those are probably out there for "quick present" buys. I like them, but I love my own Makies better, since I designed them myself.

I understand why the others are out there, and I honestly hope they all find a loving home.

Oh, the argos thing? it's a gift card! I got a response from both the makie team and argos.

Tempting to grab a couple to use at a later date lol.

It's not a bad price, did you use it for your free shipping order? Would be a lot cheaper!

I didn't pick it up yet, gonna grab it tomorrow hopefully. Migraine allowing.
Husband's gonna use it lol. I already ordered 2 boys this past fortnight.

Though I AM tempted to grab multiples. If I order two more into store I could then use the £5 gift card to buy one... then the £5 gift card for buying that one to buy the other. Lol.

Update on the argos thing.

Yeeees they do have the gift cards.. but someone in the warehouse gave everything Makies sent them the same item code... so all the fashion packs and the gift card are all catalogued at the same thing in the system.
I ordered one in, they brought out the penguin fashion pack. I was like *snort, idiots*

To their credit, Argos were really cool about it all and even gave me a £5 voucher as an appology. Sounds like the warehouse noticed because you now cannot order the items into store at all. Hopefully they fix it soon. Someone's gonna be on relabelling duty.

Well the package has departed from London and I set up the text alert, thy just said there's a post box in a local pub they can direct the delivery to so I've set that up! Takes away the stress of thinking I may miss the parcel.  But if it's already departed surely they wouldn't wait till Monday to deliver?
