Furniture finds!

Vaergo's furniture is the gold standard, but, here are some things that I've picked up for my girls while shopping:

Ikea Husset was my first find back when I had only Lizzie and Steffie.

It comes with all the above pieces, less the dolls.

And I found this at Pier 1. It's, wait for it, a CELL PHONE chair. Whaaaa??? You heard me right. It's a chair that they manufactured for your cell phone. Allie can't tell it isn't just a plain ole doll chair and neither can I.


Does Pier One even exist in the UK? I may be able to check for them and arrange a trade if anyone can't live without one.

Similar chairs can sometimes be found at Claire's, although they tend to be a bit on the frou-frou side there.
Probably a bit more suitable for Makie girls, or a Makie Elton John.

I did find a black one with silver stars, and a purple one there.  I think the purple one has stars on it too.  I originally bought them for Lue, one of my BJDs, to use for his dolls. ^_^

Lol.  Yes, I have a boy doll who collects dolls.
He even has two tiny BJDs of his very own!
Three, if you count my first Puki, which he keeps trying to steal.

Aww, Makie Elton John! That's hilarious. Some of my girls may go for the Clarie's chairs, though at the moment they only have one with multi denim and a heart on it. Not sure how I feel about that. But you've sure got me thinking about what kinds of fun chair covers I could make!

Yay! Finally someone has pics of the Ikea set!   I just ordered it from the website, I mean really, it's so cute and only $13! Now to wait for delivery...

I've got two sets of the Ikea Husset set, they're such a good value. I'm keeping my fingers crossed in hopes they release new furniture, a doll can never have enough!

Now someone mock up a pattern for the sofa's cover so we can make loads of different ones that aren't pink! lol.
I need to open mine, but I haven't got any space for my dolls atm I need to clear some shelves I think.

There are a couple of people with shops on Etsy who make slip covers for the Ikea sofa, I'll see if I can find their shops again and post a link.

I might see how tricky it'd be to draft a pattern when I open it then. It's a cover, I doubt it's hugely complicated right? You could like, repurpose cheap cushion covers or something for it heh.
