Updates about Miki and more...

Hello nice to see most of you guys on here. Its really sad to say goodbye to the old forum but I'm happy that we are all starting this new forum!!! 

I went to some of the post and I must say I am very impressed about the infos!! not only it talks about dolls but also accessories and things we need for our dollies. 

Can't wait to read more!!!

Meet Umi, she's a 26cm Hujoo Yomi. I named her after my pet fish who died last week... 

I did her face up using water color pencils, chalk pastels and acryclic paint. She's wearing a 16mm green acrylic eyes... same size with Miki's.

I made them matching outfits... I think it's really cute! Little country kids!!!

aww a friend! She's actually quite cute. I usually find Hujoo faces kinda strange and distorted looking but this one looks a lot more well.. human heh. The pink wig is cute too.

They look great togheter.

YES!!! Definitely. I'm just trying to have different kinds of dolls for now since I'm just starting but definitely will get another makie. And it will be a girl 

Last Thursday, I spent about 6 hours on youtube watching tutorials on how to crochet. I really wanted to make a bear crochet hat for my dolls but didn't know how...SOOOOOOO I finally learned how to crochet and here's the result! 





I'm also thinking of selling Makie clothes in the future... but that is just an idea. I'm not sure if anyone would buy em LOL!

I would def buy clothes, you make boy clothes which is really super uncommon to find so there's def a niche there.

That's an awesome and cute hat, it looks perfect on him. You are really talented to whip out such a well made hat for just being a beginner, you should of seen the horrible misfits I made when I fist learned to crochet! - such disasters and nothing at all like your well made hat. In regards to the first pic, I think Umi is a darling, I really love hujoo's, I have a sleepy eyed one. I think they're the perfect sidekick to makies. =D

Aww Miki and his sister look so cute and he looks very stylish in his bear hat. 

I would definitely be interested in buying clothes! I'd suggest an etsy shop if you do decide to  and please let us all know!! I adore the bear hat.

They look so cute together. I've been thinking about getting a Hujoo myself at some point, but now I'm wondering if a Makie/Hujoo hybrid could ever be possible (I do love my frankendolling)
