And here too! There's some really cool stuff they've put out there for people to print, it makes me wish I had the means to print it. Especially the little compass, and I'd love to make the tea set in every colour under the sun. 

If anyone here on the forum has a 3D printer they could make a small fortune printing Makies stuff for the rest of us, I'm sure! :p

I'd like to get one, but I keep buying Makies with my disposable income. arg

My dad has one, but I don't get to see him as often as I'd like, plus it still needs a bit of tweaking here and there. It can already use PLA, but I think he's going to try to get it to use ABS soon he's already bought a heated bed.

It's a little finicky at times though it usually needs to be recalibrated every time you want to do a circular object   My hubby and I have already made a long term goal to try and get our own.

Hey, these are cool, and they opened a Makery just last year in downtown Hilo! I keep meaning to go and check it out.

Anyway, according to the article in the paper, the grand opening flyer, and my Doctor, they will show you how to use a 3D printer and help you print stuff like this.

I think they might even teach you how to write out your own printing program, so you can print out stuff from your own designs.

I've REALLY need to go and check it out!
