She likes to stay up late pretending to be a pirate, while terrorizing a cat.

She likes going places she shouldn't be

Awesome! She must be a handful! Love the picture with the cat. A Pepper in PJ's, scaring a cat. How cool!

Thanks; that means a lot! I am planning a spring "outing" once it looks like spring outside. I've got to wear Pepper out on a regular basis to keep my home from getting turned upside down.

I've finally finished Pepper and Poppy's twin outfits. They don'[t seem upset that I've dressed them alike, only Poppy says she's too cold. I need to buy some Makie cardigans!

Well they are not exactly alike so that is okay Probably why they haven't complained....I remember my Mum used to dress my sister and I exactly the same and we were three years apart!
I love this chess fabric...am eagerly awaiting some that I ordered.

the chess fabric is amazing, there's crossword fabric too... I have so much desire for it.

Yes! They have very different ideas about what is comfortable. Poppy doesn't like pants and Pepper doesn't like skirts. I try not to annoy my girls too much.
Actually, my grandma used to dress my mom and her little sister exactly alike too, even though they were eight years apart! My mom once tried to tear up the dress to not be wearing the same thing as her toddler sister.
What do you plan to make with the chess fabric? I'm glad you got some!

Aww, thanks! And crossword fabric sounds great! There are so many awesome fabrics. /sigh Just this weekend I found fabric with tiny little radishes on it. I got a little to make a dress for Lizzie. Quilters cotton, it''s more addictive than chocolate!

omg teeny radishes? that sounds awesome!
There was, back in the late 80s a series of Sindy outfits in crossword fabric. I always wanted them but they seem to be stupid rare. but omg, they're crossword print jackets and skirts and it's funny! Thankfully spoonflower sells crossword fabric hehehe.
My mum keeps finding ridiculous fabrics and making me skirts, but sadly it's all fairly large print so not really doll appropriate heh. But I have trains, diggers, a road map, owls and even one with comic book print hahaha. I'd love more ridiculous skirts, and I want a bunch for my Makies as well but doll scale fabric is a bit more tricky to find in regular stores.
Sadly we haven't got many fabric stores around here.

Re: Pepper likes...
I tend to do okay in finding doll scale, but not to the extent that I can find weird prints very often. It's normally the tame prints like floral or stripe.
But in human scale there's a wealth of weird. I have a robot print dress, for example, and I have some Death Star blueprint fabric to use somehow. If only they had it in doll scale.
I'm jealous of the diggers skirt!

Thanks, Ozma! They're pretty much made with Makie labs patterns, if you count that Pepper's shirt is made using the Minecraft dress as a pattern.

Pepper got a new shirt today to wear with her corduroy pants in the spring. It's hard to tell from the picture, but there's a robot on the front in silver.
