Toy Like Me campaign - Wheelchairs, crutches and more
http://lammily.com/blog/ Lammily's blog has several craft tutorials that will work for Makies too.
How to make a wheelchair http://lammily.com/how-to-make-a-wheelchair-for-your-lammily-doll/
How to make crutches http://lammily.com/how-to-make-forearm-crutches-for-your-lammily-doll/
How to make a cochlear implant http://lammily.com/how-to-make-cochlear-implants-for-your-lammily-doll/
Even an oxygen tank http://lammily.com/how-to-make-an-oxygen-tank-for-your-doll/
Along with these there's also a zipline tutorial (looks fun) http://lammily.com/how-to-make-a-zipline-for-your-doll/
and an airship wheee http://lammily.com/how-to-make-an-up-inspired-airship-for-your-lammily-doll/ seems a good way to lose your doll hahaha.
Not convinced everyone just happens to have fishing reels laying about, but jar lids could be substituted.

That's so cool! I'm planning to get a Lammily eventually, but Makies come first (unless the new bodies suck)
Re: Toy Like Me campaign - Wheelchairs, crutches and more
I Got a Lammily a while ago, around x-mas, and I'm not massively impressed with them. Yes they are a cool idea, but the quality is not amazing. Though they look great and the outfit packs are adorable!

I honestly didn't think that the quality of Lammily is amazing, since they're only $25. You can't compare a doll in that price range to Makies in my opinion. Do you happen to know if the quality is better than Barbie, DollYay?
Re: Toy Like Me campaign - Wheelchairs, crutches and more
I found the articulation was about the same as some of the older click knee joint Barbies, but the plastic is probably about the same, though barbie hair is much worse. I think Lammily has some of the best fashion doll hair I've ever seen. It's very, very, good hair. Or at least it was in December/January when I got mine.

i could rant for hours about the problems with Lammily as a concept etc, but hey, tutorials on making stuff are always useful heh.
I kinda want some of the fashions, but they're really expensive and shipping is crazy.

I just checked their website again and the fashion sets are really nice, but they're the same price as the actual doll??? That's messed up! Also shipping to Germany would be over $50. I want to read that rant P_M!
Re: Toy Like Me campaign - Wheelchairs, crutches and more
Woah. Over $50 to ship to Germany is crazy! And I do agree the pricing could go down quite a bit on the outfits. But their crafts are so cute! I am so attempting these! *gets out hot glue gun* I will try and post pics if any of them turn out decent.

I'd read that rant too. I didn't buy Lammily and I can't see myself doing so, but I can still use the tutorials!
