Penny In Progress
Here is the progress on my bonus Makie, Penny Unicorn, so far. Penny began life as a pre-designed girl sent to me by Makie Lab as consolation when my Will refused to cooperate in time for Christmas. She was a young friendly elf eared soul from the start.
After hanging out in my studio/collection room with everyone for a couple weeks, she told me her name was Penny Unicorn. Penny professes to be the spirit elf of my G1 My Little Pony crowd. I'm not sure I fully believe her to be genuine, but we will humor her for a while. She is currently naked and makes no apology. I can't get her to wear any of the clothes I have on hand while she waits for the rest of her outfit.

She is adorable. I love her wig. Can't wait to see her in her finished outfit.

Thanks guys. The camera and unicorn headband both came from Kuloft on Etsy. The wig was from Ebay, but the seller name is escaping me at the moment.

She's great! I think my Steffie would really like Penny. Stef collects blind bag Care Bears and loves Hello Kitty.
Her eyes are so pretty. What sort of outfit are you planning?

It sounds like they would get along great. Makies with their own collections...dangerous.
Plans for the rest of her outfit - she has a pink tulle skirt/underskirt on the way. I'm hoping to make a cute dress from this unicorn mushroom print fabric from spoonflower (once I decide how to deal with a print scale issue). She has multicolor pastel striped socks in progress. Then hopefully some white high tops. We will see how it all comes together though.

Re: Penny In Progress
Thanks :-) Her eyes are 16 mm acrylic half rounds from somewhere on ebay. They are being pinned in a fixed stare by her eye mech at the moment. I may use some eye putty at some point, but the spacey stare is working for me right now.

Lol, she seems to be very comfortable in her own skin, as it were... ^_~
You might try contacting the designer of the fabric on Spoonflower, and see if they would be willing to resize the print for you into the scale you need.
I've seen some prints listed on Spoonflower where the designer even indicated in their listing that they would be happy to resize. So it can't hurt to ask.

Thanks JRyu.
I ordered a small bit of the regular scale fabric to see if I can do some folding pattern magic. I can get shy about asking unfamiliar people for things like that, but if the piece I ordered doesn't work I may have to suck it up and try.
