Yes, I saw her! I thought the same thing--who wouldn't want her!? If she was cheaper, I'd consider bidding, but the cost to ship to the US was quite a bit much.

I failed to tell husband I ordered Fizz too *snort* it just sorta slipped my mind/never came up. Hopefully he won't be too annoyed with me. It IS my money to do with as I please, but i feel a but naughty not telling him.

I decided to place a bid on her for the minimum amount, even with the shipping, it works out to a little less than buying one from MakieLabs.
According to the money converter I used, anyway.

Besides, this one really needs a home.

I've placed my bid and I'm going to leave it up to fate, if someone outbids me then she was meant to be theirs.

If not, then maybe I'll have a sweet little girl to wear all those pretty little dresses I bought when I thought Fen was going to be a girl.
Rayne refuses to wear them, she insists they are little girl clothes, not something a young woman going to college would wear.

Regardless, even if she turns out to be another boy, she or he will have a forever home here. ^_^

Aww, my heart was going that way too, JRyu. I was waiting for the price to drop, though, because if I can spend that much, then I need to bring Terry home. We just lost her namesake, so I'm really wanting to bring the Makie version home.

I'm sure that little blonde girl would love coming home to you, and we will all like to meet her. It's really sad for me to think about unwanted toys too. But second chances!

A white unmarked van pulled up and out popped a guy in a dhl uniform with a familiar looking tube shaped parcel.

hahah she's so cute, that's what she is. I found some absolutely fantastic little boots for her in my stash as well. I've got to find some earrings and do her faceup but right now we gotta go grocery shopping.
but even with just her default faceup she's got such a cute little imp face like.. omg. i'm delighted with her. 

I'll get photos this evening to share, and i'm sure she'll make herself known over the course of the evening.

Hurray for Fizz! And hurray for the power of Makie persuasion! No doubt she has a strong personality, if she got the DHL driver to bring her home on a Sunday! She'll be a handfull! Awesome!

That auction ended at £70!? I was surprised, I didn't realise the Makies would actually retain their resale. Someone must have really liked her.

Nope, someone outbid me.
I placed a second bid after they outbid me the first time..... I decided I could afford go a little higher.

Then too, I wanted to make sure it wasn't just some bored jerk randomly bidding items up for a lark, with no real interest in actually winning the item.

Hopefully, the person who won her really fell in love with her, just had to have her, and she'll have her loving, forever home now.

Here's hoping! I was really surprised she went for her full retail, I was not expecting that at all.

Me neither--I didn't pay that much for both my classics combined. Now I feel I got very lucky. I keep watching, hoping to pick up a pistachio Makie. Or another classic.

I was surprised she went for retail too. Partly because she was listed for buy it now for retail twice before being discounted. Proof that auction style listings have sway I guess.
I would love to pick up a classic boy. It is all timing and funds I guess :-)
