What clothes can Makies wear?

When I first got LookScience (and she's informed me she would rather go as "Sci" now), I was like "What can they wear? I only got one outfit for her!" and here's what I've found:

Barbie clothes fit pretty good, dresses that are short on Barbie will be longer on your Makie. Along with pants, so Barbie pants are okay but not the best. (They're kind long if they're meant to be full length on Barbie)

I have this little Madeline doll floating around somewhere and here coat fits great! (I think it's this one)

The American Girl hoop skirt works pretty good as well but it needs to be tightened a lot. Too bad it's discontinued or i would buy another for my actual American Girl doll since Sci has stolen it! If there's one thing Sci is good at it's stealing other dolls clothes!

I know there's more but I can't think of it at the moment!

Feel free to add any other findings that fit!

And does anyone know if This will fit makes? It's so cute! But I really stink at eyeballing doll clothes!

Makies can fit into:

Skipper clothing (modern stuff is better as she's broader and taller)
Pssst i'm taller Bratz (the older ones are faaar too small)
Bratz Boyz (older boyz stuff fits the girls fine, newer post 2010 boy stuff fits the boy Makies really well)
Monster high Boy tops and shoes
This Is Me tops fit but are baggy.
Sindy stuff fits, the jackets look great.
Repro pd&t Sindy stuff also fits but tops are a bit tight. The dresses look adorable though.
Moxie Boyz tops fit, the pants are a bit long but fit the boys around the waist.
Stardoll fits
Moxie Girlz stuff fits but can be a bit tight.
Bratzillaz stuff, tops don't fit but skirts do.
Twilight Teen stuff will stretch to fit
Pixie Punk stuff will stretch to fit in many cases.
Felicity wishes stuff fits, can be a bit baggy in places though, but has some really cute pieces.
My scene, barbie etc fits in most cases.
wee 3 friends and what's her face clothing fits great. wee 3 friends shoes can fit too, i've tried boots and slip ons and they seem to fit. I'll see if I have more to dig out and test.
Adventures of Vicky stuff fits and is super adorable, all themed stuff like safari wear and costumes.
Action Girl, Tressy, Petra etc stuff should fit
I'm not sure on Fleur but I imagine it should as she's Sindy sized.

This is really useful PM...I will have to go through my Tressy box and see if Wren wants to 'steal' some clothes!

Some Liv clothes will fit--I think shorts will work and anything empire-waisted. Makies waists are a bit bigger than Liv. Lizzie has a Liv dress that everyone seems to like:Cospeech gesture by ElectricSheepCraft"

I keep hoping that there will be some Bratz dolls, or clothing in our local charity shops - there always used to be when I wasn't interested, but they haven't had any dolls for months and months - I am wondering if they no longer sell dolls in the shops.

I've never seen a taller bratz in the charity shop. Toys R us are clearancing them though. Got a few for £5, which is awesome.

Our charity shop usually just has piles and piles of horrible ratty Barbie dolls, ew. I've found a few things, but 9 times out of 10, hideous Barbie dolls with matted hair and no clothes. Laaame.

I found a Trendy Girl Sindy once, I nearly died.

Oh, no; can't be! I don't see a lot of doll-related stuff in charity shops either, but occasionally there will be something. It's sad though, because I got a lot of my toys there as a kid. I loved hunting for My Little Pony and Rainbow Brite or Strawberry Shortcake and I still love to get stuff used. To be fair, I do see quite a bit of ratty Barbie in the bigger shops.

I did the less fun thing and watched eBay religiously until I got the above dress after seeing it on Glythia from Toy Box Philosopher. It arrived before Lizzie did, actually.

Sci is demanding that we go out and see if any stores have the Barbie fashion packs she'd been looking at online! I have This doll and the dress looks great on Sci!

Ha, ha! My Steffie loves Target. She's always after the blind-bag figures. Recently she's had her eye on the Doc McStuffins bags. Before that it was Care Bears.

Has anyone tried Ever After High clothes? Their proportions are more realistic than MH, so maybe they would be okay? Also, I saw some Vi and Va fashion packs at Target the other day and they looked like maybe they'd be good? If no one had tested either, I'd probably be able to once Fayette arrives.

Ever after high are still really teeny, there's no way their stuff will fit. The boy stuff might (it's slightly bigger than mh boys) but the girls are sooo skinny and small around the bust.

Moxie Girlz tops WILL stretch to fit I have found. but only if they're made of stretchy fabric, it does strain the seams a little lol.

Yeah, I heard there's a EAH hoodie that's pretty popular with the Makies as a menswear option. I think it's from...Hunter What's-it?

ahh yes, Hunter Woodsman (or whatever his terrible name is). He's a cute doll, his outfit is nice.

yeah that's it. The EAH doll names are just... oh gosh. I have to open Duchess still, she's a very pretty doll.
I like the boys, the remind me of Bratz Boyz which were the first doll line I ever collected. I have a soft spot for them.

Many Blythe size clothes fit Makie girls, as long as they are not too tight and everything that stretches, like tights and leggings and stuff like that fits great.  
I always use Blythe clothes patterns to sew for my Makie and they usually fit great

Hi! I just discovered that most of the DressYourDoll clothes also fit Makies! These are pre-printed patterns on fabric which you need to sew yourself, these are some outfits I just made for my new Makie:

I have a khurn, i'll check later. They're pretty skinny, but like.. barbie skinny.

How did you get yours if you don't mind me asking. I know there's places like taobao and aliexpress that probably do them, but I find them rather intimidating

I actually found her in a charity shop of all places. She didn't come with her clothes but i'll try to dig her out and take a photo of her body alongside a Makie haha, should give an idea of approximate sizings anyway. Poor girl, I intended to reroot her but have never quite gotten around to it, i'm really lazy like that.

Ok, so... Khurn dolls are kinda Moxie Girl sized around the torso. This means most tops are too tight unless they're stretchy but pants look like they'll fit. (but be waaaay too long). Baggier styles of outfit are likely to fit in the same way blythe stuff can stretch to fit heh. But yeah, she's pretty rake thin,
