Star Wars Chiss
She's here! I don't know her name yet; she says I wouldn't pronounce it right anyway. Unfortunately, once I unfroze her from the carbonite and her vision came back, she was very disconcerted with her appearance.
"I'm white? Why am I white?!"
"My skin is supposed to be blue!"
"I sure don't want any of my friends to see me like this."
I love her! I really like the white and I almost don't want to dye her, but I'll just have to get over it. I've got her red eyes and the dye and vinegar. I just need a pot to boil it all up in.

Okay! For those of you who don't know what Chiss are like, now you can see. I've dyed her and put in her eyes. I'm delighted with her! I'll post on the dye job in the customizing section. Now what is she going to wear?!

Re: Star Wars Chiss
Aww, thanks! After doing this, I just have no idea which Makie I'd buy next. I mean, the process was so fun and I'd like more Star Wars aliens, but I've got others who I'd really like to bring home for sentimental reasons.
Also, I'd intended to seal this girl's face, but I might want to try some other lip colors. Maybe purple? I'm satisfied with the grey, but change can be fun.

She looks excellent! What a cool colour too! And those eyes!
Man, I really want to dye this goblin boy now hah. I have found online places that sell rit in the UK
Gosh this girl is awesome. She has a great face anyway, but the colour really makes her pop.

Thanks both of you! I definitely recommend Rit after my experience with it. I'm sure Dylon is great too, though. I'll have to take lots of pictures of her! And maybe come up with an actual name for her.

Hmm, I just googled him. The blue is rather similar. I'd say do it! Funds, allowing of course

Re: Star Wars Chiss
I've finally managed to name her! She is Theral, which is short for Mitth'era'loro. Don't ask Chiss names are weird. I've also made her a dress, when I'd meant to give her more of an adventurer outfit, but I guess that can be my next project?
For anyone interested, the "leather" on the dress is my latest alova suede remnant purchase. As usual, it was stupid easy to work with.

That is so cool. The fabric you found looks great with her eyes. Was the pattern something you created?

Re: Star Wars Chiss
Actually, it's a Blythe smock pattern from Etsy (by UniqueDoll). I've been wanting to experiment with Blythe patterns to get a greater range of Makie garments. I added the sash and the bottom panel, and made the whole thing much longer with a little extra pleating.
Thanks for asking!

Aha! Another SWtOR player! I've wanted to make a proper Chiss for a while, so this Makie is a bit of a dream come true. I also hope to make a Mirialan and a Zeltron at some point.

Theral picked up a blaster. I hope she doesn't put anyone's eye out with that thing!
Be careful where you're pointing that!

I don't trust her at all. How did she get that thing off the Luke Skywalker action figure? I don't know if she knows how to use it, but it frightens me that she can either con or pickpocket a jedi so effectively.

Re: Star Wars Chiss
Thanks! I've been really happy with it. In fact, it doesn't bleed, or rub off and I've carelessly scratched her with a straight pin with no damage. I really can't wait to dye again. But I'll need another Makie first.

It seems that Theral can be sweet, though she doesn't do it very often from what I can tell.
