Hello from Bristol
Hi all!
I just discovered Makies today via a Facebook post about the new Toy Like Me project, which looks like a fantastic idea.
I've designed myself a cute little Makie but I haven't quite got up the nerve to order her yet, as the dolls are not cheap. But since I'm already making plans to kit her out in a gothic lolita style, I can't help thinking that it won't be long...
I just want to check - if I don't buy her today will she still be listed in my account when I come back? I really like the design I put together and I'd hate to lose it.

Hi Ariachne, welcome! If you have an account (e.g. gave them your email) all your virtual Makies should save.

You know how sometimes you think you haven't made a decision about something but some part of you just gets on as though it had already been made? Well I just bought the eyes I wanted for the doll I haven't decided to buy yet.
And some eye putty to make sure they stay in. I don't even know what eye putty is.

What kind of eyes did you order? if the eyes are for a Makie, and they are half round you don't really need eye putty, though if they are full rounds you might want it.

They were full rounds. I read through the various forum tips before I went shopping. They have pink irises and pinky-red pupils. It's for an albino doll I am planning who is currently called Cthlulu.
